Here's an update on where you will be able to watch Sun News Network starting at 4:30 p.m. ET on Monday, April 18. ...
... Shaw Digital - Channel 177 ...There's no sign of Sun News anywhere in my Shaw Cable listings. I can get AlJazeera, BBC, CNN, CBC, CTV, Bloomberg, Fox News, but no Sun News. WTF!
Update: Just found this at Sun's website (dated April 12th):
The upstart TV network, set to launch next week, announced that Shaw Communications Inc. will offer the news-and-talk television channel to all of its customers in Western Canada and Ontario for free when the channel debuts on April 18. [Then how come it ain't listed?]
Thanks for this cuz I was just on the Shaw web-site and nothing listed.....so I fired off an e-male asking what the hell is going on!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am in BC and they have told me that it will be on channel 177 after May 18th and cost $3.00/month.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a channel 177 and asked why they are a month late and not free. No answer yet.

ReplyDeleteI have found that if your carrier has the ordinary SunTV on its list of channels now, that will be switched tomorrow to SunNews. They probably won't have both.
ReplyDeleteSo, when you are looking today, don't look for SunNews, just look for SunTV.
Hope that helps.
Pardon my language, but this is F****** AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteI didn't think we were going to get it where i live through Rogers, but i just tuned in and see there is a count-down ticker on the screen.
I'm in London and have the absolute minimum, bare-bones-est Rogers package possible (no bells, no whistles, no box, only get up to about ch 28) and I'm seeing the countdown on ch 59.
