I was actually considering going down to the Hill to take some photos of the protest - but I already had a bad headache, so I didn't....glad to see that it was a non-event and that I didn't miss much.
No it certainly wasn't worth an even bigger headache.
Here in my neck of the woods, except for the long ride downtown and wading through the nutters' protest, I wouldn't have minded hearing Dick Cheney speak.
As Kathy Shaidle said (of the protests): "it's just theatre" - cheap leftist theatre.
