Silly. Reductio ad absurdum arguments are lame.
correct me if I'm wrong wasn't it the republicans who fought against slavery. and how is giving more power to the people. so they can create jobs evil now dicator ship is evil and that is closer to socialism with big government. people like hitler, stallen communism and that is a far lefty whacko type thing.

Roy, From your comment responding to anonymous you obviously watched the video and agree with Whittle.
It would be funny if not for the fact that it's based on outrageous lies and ridiculous distortions (albeit ones that right-wing fanatics actually believe).
For example, by the same token of Whittle's "logic" when equating "socialists" to the Nazis, Fascists, et. al., because of shared names, then the North Koreans should be just swell because they're all "Republicans"...
Obviously, this cartoonish nonsense gets people nowhere, although it is quite good it seems at pleasuring the sensibilities of simple-minded partisan hacks.
No, red, the Nazis and Fascists were "socialists" in more than just name. They were socialistic by policy and philosophy. Like the communists they believed in big, authoritarian, totalitarian, anti-democratic government and the freedom of their people to do as they were told, or else. Unlike the commies they were nationalists instead of internationalist and allowed for some private property.
I know the left likes to assign fascism and Nazism to the politically "far right"; but the only thing right-wing about them is that they were the right-wing of the far left.
Whittle was correct, albeit concise, on every point. The only cartoons on display here are your assertions.

Mindless right wing propaganda. They say all this to get in office but they ALWAYS spend tons of money and create things like the patriot act which has taken more American freedoms since King George III. If republicans actually did what they said then I might not consider them the evil, selfish pricks that they are. Republicans ARE the problem.
