Resolute Forest Products sues Greenpeace

Peter Foster:
In a welcome but all-too-rare display of corporate backbone, Montreal-based Resolute Forest Products has sued Greenpeace Canada.

...claims “damages for defamation, malicious falsehood and intentional interference with economic relations” in the amount of $5-million. It also seeks punitive damages of $2-million, plus costs.
Go, Resolute!

  3. It sure would be nice to see more companies resisting the extortionists. Though the Forest Products Association (FPAC)executives seem to be colluding with them rather than resisting.
