Egypt’s military moved forcefully to seize power from President Mohamed Morsi on Wednesday, deploying tanks and troops in Cairo and other cities ...Interesting. Now what?
Ahramonline, the government’s official English-language Web site, said the military had informed Mr. Morsi that he was no longer head of state. There was no word on Mr. Morsi’s whereabouts ...
... Mr. Morsi’s senior foreign policy adviser [wrote]... "For the sake of Egypt and for historical accuracy, let’s call what is happening by its real name: Military coup." ...
"One should doubtless keep an open mind...though open at both ends, like the food pipe, and have a capacity for excretion as well as intake." -- Northrop Frye, 'The Great Code'

Egypt's Morsi gets the boot
Morsi Is Out as President, Egyptian State Media Says
The "Muslim Brotherhood" is out... now, if they could only get the MB out of the White House there be some real progress in the ME. Oblahblah must be pissed that his MB ally has been over thrown.
ReplyDeleteGood point about the White House. However, it has been observed that even more radical Islamists than the MB are waiting in the wings. Though they too would have the Egyptian army to deal with, more chaos could be in store.
