Iggy's search for Canada

Michael Ignatieff's new book "True Patriot Love" is subtitled "Four generations in search of Canada".

So that's what he was doing for the last 30 years - searching for Canada!

When he left England after 22+ years he was headed in more or less the right direction but wound up at Harvard. After another 5+ years he discovered that I93 north from Boston might lead, with a detour or two, to 24 Sussex Dr, ending his search.

Forget being nice..if you have spent 30 years outside this country, you obviously don't care, nor have a clue what is going on in it.

I don't want a pseudo Canadian holding the highest office in my country.Iggy,go back to your home, the United States.

Just a thought..if the Conservatives ban dual citizenships, will Iggy be forced to renounce his second?

Is it U.K or American?

Now that you mention it, Kursk, maybe that's one of Jason Kenney's motivations for his proposed reforms :)

I can't help thinking that the subtext here is that Iggy, in typical elitist fashion, is going to help us find ourselves. He has a vision and he's going to impose that vision on Canada whether we like it or not.

Where was he born? He didn't come to Canada until he was 6 to go to Upper Canada College
