The new Marijuana Party

Conservatives opposed gay marriage and said that society would collapse. 5 years later the Conservative Justice minister is promising new laws to strengthen gay marriage. Social conservatism is dead.
Marijuana will be like that. It will become legal and the world will not end. It might also help me get through a Steven Harper speech.
Politicians are weasels. The current Justice Minister is a prize weasel. But these are just more reasons for liberals to vote Conservative, wouldn't you say?
Are you people all nuts? Legalize weed? Look what they did with cigarette taxes. Can you imagine what an ounce of the good stuff will cost once the government gets their hands on it. I'll have to give up one or the other, or maybe alternate between them.
"It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their consciences." -- C. S. Lewis
