Iggy weasels-in on Justin's fiasco

Michael Ignatieff adds more Lib weasel-speak to Justin Trudeau's dopey comments on certain barbaric cultural practices, saying:

"... There's no such thing as an honour killing, there's only killing and it's a crime everywhere,"
And Mark Steyn points out:
Unfortunately, in wacky Pakistan, “moderate” Jordan and many places in between, the law distinguishes between “killing” (which is a crime) and killing a woman because she’s dishonored your family (which often gets reported as a suicide or accident or, if brought to court at all, results in acquittal or desultory six-month sentences). Indeed, failing to commit an honor killing is itself a form of dishonor ...

It seems that both Iggy and little Justin are anti-women, since honour killings only apply to women on a whole. Should the women refuse an arranged/forced marriage or worse marry someone of her own choosing, she can be murdered without penalty for the murderer in countries under Islam. Now should the poor woman be raped, she can be expected to be stoned to death by the Muslim state, or her family will be expected to carry out an honour killing, since no matter what she must be at fault. This is clearly barbaric and not acceptable in Canada.

Yup, a couple of dim-witted douchebags waxing stupid about barbarians. Chris Selley wrote an OK column today, saying: "... The most plausible explanation for Mr. Trudeau’s comments is, I think, misguided exhibitionism. ...". He lets him off too lightly.
