Actually, the Qu'ran is what is wrong with Islam.
But to his point, I could also point out that the bible is what is wrong with Christianity. But modern Christians are inconsistently selective in their beliefs, from one to the next. And are not as stuck in the 1950's as fundamental Islam is in the 7th century.
Don't ask me to elaborate. It'll make you ditch religious beliefs all together.
All in all, I think we should prefer 1950's Kabul over how it is now.
"It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their consciences." -- C. S. Lewis
