The left's lies about Stephen Bannon

Stefan Molyneux thoroughly de-bunks leftist smears against Steve Bannon.  He discusses the left's smear tactics, the hypocrisy, anti-semitism, racism and cowardice in their rhetoric about "white" nationalism.  Molyneux also concludes that the left's claims to champion diversity are phony; the left is not pro-diversity, they are only "pro-all-groups-who-vote-for-the-left" - it's why, for example, they support open borders - for votes. If they thought that poor Mexican border jumpers would vote Republican instead of (overwhelmingly) Democrat, they'd be clamouring for a giant wall - diversity be damned.

Obama finally decides ...

... to kill Keystone XL:
The Keystone XL project, age 7, passed away on Friday, the victim of protracted political gamesmanship.
... On Friday morning, Barack Obama dragged the catatonic patient to the steps of the U.S. State Department and shot it dead. It might have even been merciful if only he had had the nerve to do it sooner.
“The critical factor in my determination was this: moving forward with this project would significantly undermine our ability to continue leading the world in combating climate change,” read a statement from Secretary of State John Kerry, written with what we can only presume was a straight face.
As the headline said:  "Keystone XL ... choked on political baloney"

More, by Claudia Cattaneo
Canadians of every political persuasion should be dismayed by U.S. President Barack Obama’s cowardly rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline. [Most are dismayed but there's no shortage of leftist, eco-nut traitors cheering the decision.]

A despicable, cowardly media

It almost goes without saying that the so-called mainstream media has a significantly leftist political bias.  We also know that the MSM is weak on press freedom and is prone to self-censor and to downplay or ignore certain issues.  They do this out of politically correctness (ie. upsetting lib/leftists who share their biases).  They also do so out of simple cowardice in the face of potential physical danger.  Altogether this highly unfortunate situation is just short of earning the MSM the title "despicable".

This week they (the journalists and executives of CTV, Global TV, CBC) crossed the line during the anti-fracking "protests" (riots) near Rexton, NB.  They displayed all of the above near-despicable negatives plus failing to come to the defence of fellow journalists who were attacked by Indian thugs and criminals.

The violence and thuggery of Indian "protesters" was bad enough.  But Ezra Levant hits the right target when he calls out members of the despicable "Media Party" for their cowardice and duplicity:

A video about "liars, cowards, fascists and hatemongers"

Pat Condell defends the EDL, Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller and exposes real "liars, cowards, fascists and hatemongers":

A Supremely contemptible decision

In its cowardly, politically correct "Whatcott" decision today, the Supreme Court has delivered a blow against free speech.  Ezra Levant predicts a surge in "hate" speech complaints to "human rights" commissions and tribunals:

Right now I'm feeling hatred and contempt for our Supreme Court justices.  In other words ...

Martha Hall Findlay's weak, cowardly apology

Martha Hall Findlay's apology for her supposedly "personal" attack on Justin Trudeau during Saturday's Liberal debate has been all over the news.

There was nothing especially wrong with Findlay's challenge to Trudeau. It was weak as "attacks" go but she raised a legitimate issue to someone who has been yapping non-stop about being a saviour of the middle-class (imitating Obama, no doubt).

Trudeau's typically phony, vapid response to Findlay:
"... I've been lucky in my life ... and what is important for me is to put everything that I've received, like each of us wants to, in service of my community. And that is what my identity is all about."
More like in service of Justin Trudeau's bank account. Findlay should have also attacked Trudeau on his highly questionable practice of soaking charities and schools $10K - $20K a pop for speaking engagements while on the taxpayers' dime as a sitting MP, often skipping parliament to do so.  Why didn't she?

Findlay's apology was unnecessary, if not cowardly. It makes her look weak - just another Trudeau suck-up - rather than a serious challenger.

New York Times - hypocrites and cowards

Pamela Geller:

REJECTED!
What the NY Times Won't Run: Counter-Jihad Facts
What the NY Times Will Run: Anti-Catholic Smear Ads ...
Who knew?
... We used the same language as the anti-Catholic ad. The only difference is, ours was true and what we describe is true. The anti-Catholic ad was written by fallacious feminazis.
More reaction.

National Post caves to radical sex-ed agenda

Further to this post about an ad objecting to the TDSB's radical sex-ed for JK to Grade 3, there's disappointing (to put it mildly) news that the National Post has apologized for placing the ad (and worse).

Kathy Shaidle puts it a lot less mildly.
