Senator Grant Mitchell's closed mind - Part III

Further to my two previous posts here's a video of Grant Mitchell bloviating on climate change:

Mitchell is a closed-minded true believer.  I left these comments at YouTube where Grant's approval is required.  Will he approve?

There is no scientific debate about AGW? Really? If Mitchell believes this it's because he keeps his head buried in the sand, listening only to proponents of the AGW hypothesis and catastrophic AGW alarmists. The scientific literature is replete with peer reviewed work that is at odds with that hypothesis. Open your closed mind Senator Mitchell, and learn to think for yourself.

I wouldn't be surprised that the old "Follow Da Money" trend would, as usual, bring up many "interesting" connections and associations.

I just reread your post and watched the clip and found myself saying "none are so blind as those that WILL NOT see".

Indeed, Pat. It's also interesting that like most true believers he suffers from severe confirmation bias. There isn't a weather related event anywhere, any time that he doesn't attribute to AGW or as he prefers 'ACC'.

Unfortunately,every Liberal/Green/NDP'er believes Mitchell.

This cause has become like a religion, and is in fact a substitute religion for many of the agnostics and atheists among the "progressives",so there is no hope of winning this debate, any more than there is debating with a devout theist about his deity.

Governments want our tax dollars, all of them if they can figure out how to take them all,and for that reason,AGW will never be renounced, nor will the purveyors of the scam ever be prosecuted.

I agree. AGW phobia has huge momentum. While there has been slow progress towards dampening the hysteria the "climate change" zealots will never give up, even in the face of obvious global cooling for which they would find some new theory to blame human activity.

Massive self-loathing and constructed guilt, right from the dinosaurs dying off to the sharp decline in the Buffalo, they're guilt of it....and so should you be too!! Strange critters, like you say, almost like religious fanatics.
